The AV-TEST AWARD FOR BEST PROTECTION for home user has been awarded to Bitdefender Internet Security in 2011... Bellow is their FREE on-line version of the scanner you may want to try.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of on-line scanners, and usually prefer commercial or at least fully functional free antivirus products like Avast or AVG, but this little scanner by Bitdefender is pretty good.
